JUS IN - KERWIN ESPINOSA CLAIMED THAT ALBUERA POLICE HEAD CHIEF JOVIE ESPENIDO TRIED TO MURDER HIM. MUST WATCH THIS!
Alleged Eastern Visayas drug lord Kerwin Espinosa on Wednesday claimed that Albuera police head Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido once tried to murder him.
Appearing at the resumption of the Senate hearing on the death of his father Rolando, Espinosa narrated how the plan to murder him came to be.
In the late 1990s, Espinosa said he worked for the Locsin family, a political clan in Ormoc City.
However, while doing his job, Espinosa said he "clashed" with the Codilla family, another political clan in Ormoc City.
At the time, Espinosa said Espenido had a hidden identity.
Earlier in the probe, Espinosa said that the affidavit presented by Espenido was not from his father.
He also denied the existence of the controversial pink book and blue book that were said to contain the names of personalities involved in the illegal drug trade.
