President Rodrigo Duterte took a commercial flight once again from Manila to Davao City on Thursday night.
Malacañang photos showed that Duterte took a Philippine Airlines flight with Special Assistant to the President Secretary Christopher "Bong" Go.
After spending the New Year out of the public eye, Duterte went back to Manila on January 5 via a commercial flight.
In July 2016, the President also took a commercial flight from Manila to Davao City. At the airport, he went shunned VIP treatment, went through all the inspections, and greeted the crowd.
Duterte, who served as mayor of Davao City for over 20 years, usually spends his weekends in his hometown where his family resides.
