The Philippine National Police has submitted 30 names of celebrities suspected of being involved in drugs to Malacañang, PNP chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa said on Monday.
“Basta yung listahan na nakarating sa akin, lalo na yung galing sa NCRPO, pinasa ko na sa Malacananang at idagdag na iyon sa listahan ni Presidente, meron siyang mga celebrity watchlist,” Dela Rosa said in a press conference.
“Yung sa NCRPO na sinubmit sa akin around 30 celebrities,. Baka iba pa yun (kay Presidente). Mas marami yung kay Presidente,” he added.
Dela Rosa said he had yet to see Duterte’s celebrity drug watchlist.
He said the names in the NCRPO list came from drug suppliers earlier arrested by the PNP.
“Kung sino sino yung mga kinanta nung celebrity supplier nila ng drugs. Hintayin na lang natin kung ia-announce ni Presidente yun or ayaw nya ia-announce,” Dela Rosa said.
Dela Rosa would not say when the PNP would start its Oplan Tokhang on showbiz personalities.
